Leader of the Anunnaki, the Sky People, who tried to destroy the Mother in order to rule this world. But the Sky People themselves were defeated; all that remains is evidence of their intentions in an Anunnaki machine they used to descend to Earth.

To reveal the Ankh you need to pray to Anu
Mechanics[ | ]
Anu flies on his vehicle, staying out of the way and firing projectiles towards the player, only being in range for melee strikes when he tries to ram Lumisa.

- Damage: 24-32
- Damage from making contact with Anu.
- Ring Lasers
- Damage: 4-12
- Anu fires several groups of ring-shaped projectiles upwards that then comes down in various angles. In hardmode he fires additional projectiles.
- Buzzsaw
- Damage: 8-16
- Speed: 0.6-1.2
- Anu tosses out buzzsaws that travel along the ground.
- Ramming Assault
- Damage: 32
- You often take the contact damage instead of Ramming Assaults damage.
- Anu swoops down and tries to ram into the player. On hardmode his angle of attack is lower so that you can't dodge this attack by running underneath him.
- Damage: 32
- Perspective Beam
- Damage: 32-48
- Anu flies into the background and fires beams onto the walls of the tunnel, which then travels into the arena. He then spins around at a slowly increasing rate. The spokes of the beams is in the background and thus do not deal damage.
Strategy[ | ]
Try using Flares on the left/right sides: The residue of the Flares linger long enough for him to fly into the residue and get hurt. If he swoops down, jump over him and (optionally) whack him with your whip/katana, Shuriken or Earth Spear. If he does his spinning laser attack, use single-jumps when the lasers start spinning very fast.
